In this IMPROVED EDITION that corrects some important problems, Greek Airports Project invites you to discover through simulation, Greece of sea and sun. With the opportunity of the signing of the Decision (protocol nr. 2111.21.11/01/08) which determines the way of operation of amphibious Light Sport Aircraft (LSA when at sea, the idea was born, or to be more precise, an idea long in the minds of the Greek Airports Project team materialized.

Nine seaports were created, in cooperation with the Hellenic Seaplanes Association (HSA), Dias Sea Lines Virtual and the general aviation magazine Remove Before Flight, to facilitate your seaplane in areas created in Greece for the very first time. This idea, combined with the knowledge of the experts at HSA, found the best way to materialize. Lavrio, Kalymnos, Paros, Ios, Chalkidiki (Toronaios Bay), Corfu, Othonoi (that wonderful island Northwest of Corfu), Lefkada and Patra have been designed in such a way, that each of these sceneries carries the locality and ambience of each area. We were not confined in just a small part of the area, like usually done in other seaplane sceneries worldwide, but we wanted to attribute just a little bit more in each area. So, don¢t be surprised when you see the whole harbor area of Patra, or surfers cutting the waves in Paros as you approach the base. Vacationers which you can only sea during the summer (during wintertime they will not be there) and “cool” or, more correctly, “hot” appearances all around, if you decide to have a drink at one of the Beach Bars after a flight. Active ramps in which a seaplane can enter through to a hangar, navigation beacons will guide you to enter a port or bay after landing, breakwaters and mooring buoys to guide you correctly into the sea base are just some of the elements that will make you combine simulation with the joy of summer in Greece, in the deep blue of the Greek seas. Some interventions were also made locally on the coastlines near to where the sea bases are situated.
